DMMPC Youth Scholarship Program

The Des Moines Metro Pickleball Club (DMMPC) is dedicated to growing pickleball among youth in our community. In addition to weekly play at Valley Community Center, we offer youth clinics, camps, and tournaments throughout the year.

How Scholarships Are Awarded

The DMMPC Youth Committee will review all applications and select recipients based on need, merit, or other factors. The number and amount of scholarships vary each year depending on available funds and the applications received.

Note: There is no guarantee that an applicant will receive a scholarship.

Recognition

Scholarship recipients will be introduced and recognized at the annual DMMPC meeting.

We encourage families to stay updated on youth events by visiting the DMMPC website and Facebook page, and to participate in the scholarship application process.

Scholarship Eligibility & Application

To apply for a youth scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be at least 10 years old

Be a resident of Polk County
3
Commit to attending at least 90% of the event for which they're applying
4
Complete the scholarship application, signed by a parent or guardian

Note: Each child from the same family must submit a separate application.
